|Dr. Laurent Hermoye, CEO|
After graduating as an electrical engineer, doctor of medical sciences, and bachelor of business management, I founded Imagilys, a company specializing in advanced brain imaging, biomarkers and neurosurgical planning. Through collaborations with research teams at Harvard University, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and Liege University's Coma Science group, I endeavor to bring the most advanced brain imaging techniques from bench to bedside. My efforts have resulted in multiple publications in medical journals and at international conferences, but also in a neuroimaging software, BrainMagix, which has been used on thousands of patients. Having served as a university professor for 10 years, I am now the organizer of Imagilys’ Advanced Clinical Neuroimaging Course, teaching advanced neuroimaging techniques to doctors from all around the world. Through continuing medical education at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), I am continually at the leading edge of the newest techniques.
Dr. Vasileios K Katsaros, MD, PhD, EQNR (Senior Neuroradiologist since 2007) is Consultant Radiologist - Neuroradiologist, Head of the MRI Department in General Anti-Cancer and Oncological Hospital of Athens “St. Savvas”, Head of Neuroradiology in Central Clinic of Athens, as well as Clinical and Research Affiliate in the Department of Neurosurgery of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and in the Department of Neuroradiology, University College of London (UCL). He completed his Neuroradiology Fellowship in Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg, Germany. He has more than 25 years experience in clinical imaging of brain diseases, with a special focus on multi-modal advanced MR imaging of brain tumors, and the last 10 years in the integration of brain mapping (fMRI and DTI mainly, but also Perfusion and Spectroscopy) in neuronavigation systems for imaging guided (functional) neurosurgery (IGNS) of brain tumors. Since February 2017, he is participating in the DTI Challenge Project, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA.
Imagilys brings the most advanced brain imaging techniques from bench to bedside. Through our neuroimaging software suite, BrainMagix, we help our customers to improve the diagnosis and to optimize the treatment of the most severe neurological diseases.
The Advanced Clinical Neuroimaging Workshop is organized with the support of:
